Yala Safari

Enchanting Ella

Madu River Safari
The Madu River is located near the town of Balapitiya in the Galle District. This river is a popular destination for boat safaris. The Madu River is a complex coastal ecosystem consisting of mangroves and islands. It is the last remaining mangrove forest in Sri Lanka. A boat ride is the best way to see hundreds of species of flora and fauna. There are about 64 islands in the river and lagoon.
Turtle Watching
Sri Lanka is home to five of the world’s seven species of sea turtles. The green turtle, olive ridley turtle, loggerhead turtle, hawksbill turtle, and leatherback turtle can be found in Sri Lanka. Many organizations have established turtle hatcheries to protect eggs from predators and human activities to conserve sea turtles.
Sinharaja rainforest tour
The Sinharaja Rainforest is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular attractions and a biodiversity hotspot. More than 60% of the trees in the reserve are endemic to Sri Lanka.
The reserve is home to more than 50% of Sri Lanka’s endemic butterfly and mammal species, as well as many species of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians. Sinharaja is the last remaining evergreen rainforest in Sri Lanka. It covers an area of 11,000 hectares of primary and secondary forests.
Minneriya Elephant safari
Minneriya National Park is located in the North Central Province, in the catchment area of the Minneriya Reservoir, built by King Mahasen in the 3rd century. During the dry season, between July and September, a large herd of wild elephants flock to the banks of the reservoir every year, making it the largest gathering of elephants in the world. The gathering during the festival includes between 300 and 500 elephants. The elephants can be seen socializing, socializing, and bathing with each other. Endemic bird species such as the Sri Lankan jungle fowl, the brown-capped babbler, the Sri Lanka grey- hornbill and the crimson-fronted barbet are common in Minneriya.
Colombo city tour
